Energy of Water

Energy of Water (2023) by Vasilisa Chugunova captures the enduring power and subtle force of water through a dynamic stone composition. The sculpture features a continuous interplay of thin lines and broad masses, symbolizing the fluid movement of water and its ability to shape and transform even the hardest materials.

Chugunova’s work reflects on water as a source of strength and energy that flows from the earth, capable of carving through stone and sharpening its surface over time. Delicate drops emerge from the solid form, emphasizing the paradox of water’s gentle yet formidable nature.
